Because of a music snafu, FBC’s Tap Competition Team had to perform acapella. Instead of panicking, they blew away the judges and received a “High Gold!” and 1st place in their category. Great effort! The Pom team received Gold for their performance. Lyrical Soloist Ixchel Mendez received a “Gold” for her performance to “No Air.”

Lyrical Duo Team of Jessica Cornell & Heather Forrest and Tap Duo Team of Hayley Burton & Sara Rice received “Gold” for their dances.

FBC’s Pom & Tap Team scored “High Gold.”
The Tap Team, pictured here, did a great job at the OnStage America Competition. The Pom Team received a special award as well, “Captivating Cannons.” The Tap Duo team of Sara Rice & Hayley Burton and the Lyrical Duo team Jessica Cornell & Heather Forrest, received “High Gold” marks as well.
Ixchel Mendez competed in her first competition of the year performing a Lyrical solo in the Senior division. She too received a “High Gold” and received a special award,“Powerful.”
